World Indoor Championships!

Back in the states!! There is definitely no place like home!! As much fun the USA team had in Istanbul, Im thankful to be back home. World Indoors was great from top to bottom for the USA team and myself personally. I couldnt have asked for a better turnout! The USA team broke the all time American medal count record by getting 18 medals!! That is ridiculous! We made a statement thats for sure.

The whole experience last week was just awesome and I owe it all to God for everything he did for the people around me as well as myself. I felt that many of my teammates were a big motivation for me this weekend such as Chante winning the High Jump, Sanya winning the 400m, and “B. Reese” smashin in the long jump!!! When I saw them going out there and doing what they did I felt an extra push to follow in the same direction, which I think was all planned by the Lord!! He works in mysterious ways. It was also good to see my Gators winning another NCAA indoor national title and my guy Omar Craddock  bringing back another 1st place finish in the triple jump to the Florida Gators!!

I enjoyed myself this past week and I’m thankful I was able to be used by God to show how great he is!! But that is now the past and I am still looking ahead to the 2012 Olympics, which will be here in no time, so I’m getting right back on the grind and keeping healthy so I can continue to pursue my dreams! I really appreciate everyone who is supporting me and cheering me on! It means a lot! God bless!!
